The International Development & External Affairs Office (IDEA) is part of the University’s Central Administration and offers services to international students and scholars at NNU, the graduate and professional schools, as well as the numerous research centers and affiliated teaching hospitals, to minimize the difficulties they may experience both upon arrival and later during their stay at NNU.
An-Najah National University is dedicated to being globally connected. The Office of International Development and External Affairs (IDEA) plays a leading role in realizing this ambition. The IDEA office at An-Najah National University is here to facilitate local community interaction and dialogue with the international community and the global network of higher education. History:
The Office of International Development and External Affairs was established in 2007 in response to the growing need for international collaboration. IDEA is in charge of coordinating international activities within the university, advancing a strategic plan for internationalization, fostering and nurturing international partnerships, as well as developing innovative programming for faculty and students that will facilitate their development as global leaders committed to the improvement of the common good.
Our Mission:
- Developing ties with universities, institutions, diplomatic missions, NGO’s, and various media groups worldwide.
- Facilitating coordinated campus-wide communication, advocacy, and development.
- Building enduring relationships that help to promote and strengthen intellectual collaboration and exchange.
- Establishing and broadening relationships with like-minded financial partners and donors.
